Giants Defeat San Francisco 49ers, Advancing to Super Bowl
Lawrence Tynes kicked a 31-yard field goal almost eight minutes into overtime to give the Giants a 20-17 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in the N.F.C. Championship game.
The Giants will face the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl — a rematch of their meeting in the N.F.L.'s title game four years ago.
