According to them, Coldplay is better than Pearl Jam, Mariah Carey is only greater than six artists, etc! Not to mention other impactful artists were left off of the list. So I thought that maybe we try the countdown one more time, only this time with the perspective of true music fans...YOU.. This list will begin in no particular order, you will see some names that didn't appear in VH1's version, no artist appears on the countdown twice, and the order is not my personal opinion (I personally think Bob Marley is the greatest artist of all time). If you don't like how the list looks, you have the power to change it. This list includes some of the greatest female vocalists of the past 10 years, and many of the best rock bands and artists of all time. No longer are romance fans limited to mere "bodice-rippers": Now best selling romance authors are churning out elaborate tales that incorporate elements of historical fiction and even science fiction. Whether it's contemporary romance, paranormal romance or historical romance novels, I've tried to compile a comprehensive list of the top romance novelists around. That's a tough task, and I'm pretty certain I've missed more than a few. Romance novel fans, if you don't see your personal favorite author on this list, please add them! Also, be sure to vote for your favorite romantic novel writers. I've included several popular contemporary romance novelists on this list, but I also tried to list some of the classic romance writers as well. Good example? Jane Austen. No list of the best romance novelists would be complete without adding Jane Austen! Another example? Margaret Mitchell, author of the epic romance novel Gone With the Wind. Some of the authors I've included on this list are winners of the RITA Award, given by the Romance Writers of America (RWA). Among them: Nora Roberts, LaVyrle Spencer, and Diana Gabaldon. Roberts is one of the best-selling romance writers of all-time. Gabaldon's epic Outlander series is without question my favorite historical romance series ever. Since the premiere of the original Star Wars (A New Hope) in 1977, the saga of the Jedi, the Sith, and the Skywalker family have been favorites of movie-goers. Along with the original film, its sequels The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and The Return of the Jedi (1983) are considered some of the best movies of all time. The stories follow Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa, Han Solo, and their friends and droids as they battle the evil Sith lords Darth Vader and Darth Sidious. Sixteen years after the release of the initial films, a trilogy of Star Wars prequels were created, beginning with Episode I: The Phantom Menace in 1999. Attack of the Clones was released in 2002, and Revenge of the Sith (2005) was the final film. This set of films followed Anakin Skywalker, Luke's father, from his youth to his becoming Darth Vader as well as his relationships with wife Padme Amidala, mentor Obi Wan Kenobi, and eventually Emperor Palpatine. In 2012, it was announced that Disney bought Lucasfilms and was planning three new Star Wars films, sequels that follow the end of The Return of the Jedi. In light of this, we look back at the "original" films to let the crowd decide, once and for all, which are the best films int he Star Wars franchise. Some of the best underground rappers were able to forgo any kind of formal representation and get their voices into the world via SoundCloud. Featuring mainstream rappers who were discovered on SoundCloud, like Lil Yachty and Lil Uzi Vert, and up and coming SoundCloud rappers, like Lil Pump and 6ix9ine, this list of good SoundCloud rappers also includes Ski Mask the Slump God, Russ, Smokepurpp, Trippie Redd, and Ugly God. Though a variety of definitions for the "psychological thriller" genre have been offered, there is no universally accepted set of guidelines. In general, psychological thrillers integrate personal character elements into mystery and suspense films, essentially toeing the line between a dramatic character study and the sort of plot structure you'd expect from a detective movie. Many psychological thrillers resemble traditional thrillers or suspense films, only with a personal, internal antagonist rather than a traditional movie villain. (For example, Repulsion or The Conversation, in which the plot is moved forward by the main character's growing paranoia and madness.) In many films of this type, the solution to the main character's conflict comes in the form of altering their perspective or discovering some buried truth about themselves and their past, rather than winning a fight or battling an opponent. Many psychological thrillers play around with the main character's back story, or make use of an unreliable narrator. Films like Christopher Nolan's Memento present the audience with one perspective on the story, and then generate suspense by showing the ways in which "reality" contrasts to this perspective. (This sometimes, but not always, results in a "twist" or surprise ending based on the difference between the main character's perception and that of outside observers.) Several Alfred Hitchcock movies utilize this technique, particularly movies like Spellbound and Marnie, in which the story concerns a character becoming mentally well after years of madness and confusion.
