Worst Birthday Ever? President Obama Might Miss Bash Due To Debt Talks

As organizers prepare for President Obama's massive fundraiser and birthday bash in Chicago, Republicans and Democrats continue to argue over raising the country's debt ceiling to avoid default. If an agreement is not reached soon, the Chicago Sun-Times reports that the man of honor won't be attending his own party.
"The president is doing the job the American people elected him to do and that is what will always come first," Obama campaign manager Jim Messina told Lynn Sweet of the Sun-Times. "Our job is to build the campaign while the president governs."
